        We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team. This position involves providing comprehensive musculoskeletal care with a focus on general orthopedics, joint replacement procedures, and acute injury management.


        The Orthopedic Surgeon will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including degenerative joint diseases, traumatic injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Responsibilities include performing surgical procedures such as total hip and knee replacements, as well as managing fractures through both operative and non-operative techniques.


        In addition to clinical and surgical duties, the physician will participate in the Emergency Department (ED) call schedule alongside other providers, ensuring timely and effective care for acute orthopedic cases.


        The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, surgical expertise, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care providers, physical therapists, and other specialists, is essential to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


        Key Responsibilities:




        • Provide comprehensive general orthopedic care



        • Perform hip and knee joint replacement surgeries



        • Diagnose and manage fractures and other acute injuries



        • Participate in shared ED call coverage



        • Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care



        • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation









    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS




      • Professional & Technical Skills





        • Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery


          Fellowship training in joint replacement (preferred but not required)






      • Education





        • Active or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Indiana






      • Other Skills or Requirements





        • Strong interpersonal and communication skills






      • Skilled to Care for Certain Age-Related Patient Groups (incumbents will be skilled in the care of the following patient groups)





        • All patient groups
