About the Role:
The Client Fund Services (CFS) Real Assets IT team is seeking a Yardi platform suite developer. The team is responsible for the development, maintenance and support of the integrated accounting and investment management Real Estate platform (Yardi). This multifaceted position is responsible for development, configuration, technical support and performance tuning. The candidate will also design and develop application and data interfaces in support of the evolving real estate application ecosystem, i.e., fund accounting, cash management, investor relations, operations, data warehousing, business intelligence/analytics and portfolio/fund modeling, This position will work with multiple Citco business units and technology teams, and at times interface with institutional clients in support of their reporting and custom requirements.
The ideal candidate will have an application development background with strong technical skills in MS SQL Server, SSRS, YSR, Yardi ETL / Task Runner and extensive experience with Yardi Voyager. Experience with Yardi Voyager Investment Management, Core Financials, International, Fixed Assets, Investor Relations, Performance Modeling, Budget & Forecasting modules is required. Experience with .net is a plus.
Job Duties in Brief:
Implementation:
- Work with vendor to implement new releases into Test and Production environments
- Coordinate the release process with business groups
- Communicate detailed descriptions of functional changes and provide follow-up support as required
Application Support / Development:
- Create and run ad-hoc database scripts and reports
- Design and develop reports based on business requirements
- Develop and execute database scripts such as data fixes, procedures and cursor
- Create scripts to integrate Yardi with other products and services in the organization
- Configure/develop new system functionality
- Administer and resolve technical support requests coming from application users
- Communicate effectively with the user community
- Design and develop application interfaces and maintain existing interfaces
- Maintain working knowledge of technical enhancements and new functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues at the OS, database and SQL code levels
Testing:
- Perform unit, performance and stress testing
- Provide direction and support to the business divisions for User Acceptance Testing
- Create test cases and coordinate execution of the test plans
About You:
- Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in either Information Systems or Computer science
- 3 - 5 years of experience with Yardi Voyager Real Estate investment and accounting system required
- Minimum of 8 years technical experience as a developer
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and an expert knowledge of Yardi scripting and Yardi report types (scripted, YSR and SSRS)
- Strong experience in maintaining MS SQL databases including creation, data management, backups, security and performance tuning
- Expert with Yardi Voyager Investment Management, Core Financials, International, Fixed Assets, Investor Relations, Performance Modeling, Budget & Forecasting modules
- Experience supporting 3rd party vendor applications and interfaces
- Experience with Windows webservers (.Net. and IIS)
- Well rounded individual capable of performing several roles having ability to work in a fast paced, complex IT environment
