Certified Nursing Assistant CNA

Job Summary:

Highfield Gardens Care Center of Great Neck is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and assistance to our residents in a sub-acute and long-term care setting. Certified Nursing Assistant CNA Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses, including vital signs, bathing, dressing, and other personal care activities

  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as toileting, ambulation, and feeding

  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition to licensed nurses and other healthcare team members

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including ensuring proper infection control practices

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans

  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by licensed nurses and other healthcare team members

Certified Nursing Assistant CNA Requirements:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing

  • Prior experience preferred (recent graduates welcome to apply!)

  • Ability to speak and read English fluently

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
