The Inboxologist will be responsible for providing support to our Family Medicine Physicians by assisting with EPIC in Basket management.

About the Position:

  • Interpret diagnostic test results, apply them to disease management, and coordinate care consistent with their scope of practice
  • Supports the practice through efficient and timely management of provider in Basket tasks increasing patient satisfaction
  • Reviews and acts on patient messages, lab results, and diagnostic results
  • Triage and Response: Addresses urgent message, results, and other urgent needs requiring immediate attention
  • Clinica orders: Refill prescriptions, request appropriate diagnostic and screening procedures, order labs, and makes referrals as authorized
  • Patient communication: Provides clinical guidance and coordination of care in response to test results, medication requests, and patient related health questions regarding treatment illness
  • Accurately document all actions in the EHR

Experience:

  • Must have 5 years of experience working as a provider in Family Medicine or Urgent Care
  • Experience working independently managing commonly performed lab and diagnostic results from infants to geriatrics

Professional Skills:

  • Graduated from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program or Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current CPR Certification
