Job Title: Senior Maintenance Technician
Location: Woodbine, Iowa
Reports To: Plant Maintenance Manager 

Internal and/or External Posting: both 

Shift (day, night, or flexible): flexible 

Pay Range: $35.00-$37.00

Who We’re Looking for 

 

We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to execute proper upkeep and maintenance of equipment, building and property at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be reliable and detail-oriented with a working knowledge of upkeep and maintenance of various systems related to a manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance team leader. 

 

What you’ll be doing: 

With the use of digital tools, your experience, and industry standards you will… 

  • Maintainproperty including but not limited to offices, production areas, public areas, and equipment through execution of preventive maintenance program
  • Maintain organization’s physical operations including but not limited to refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, emergency generators, plumbing, water treatment, and electrical systems
  • Complete fire and safety inspections as assigned to ensure property is following all safety and sanitation policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Analyzes, troubleshoots, services, and fixes computerized and robotic devices
  • Uses mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical skills to repair equipment and machinery
  • Reads and interprets electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring, and assembly diagrams to perform diagnostic and maintenance functions
  • Works closely with equipment manufacturers to ensure minimum downtime of all automated systems and machinery
  • Perform other relatedduties asassigned by management.

 

 

Experience and Education Requirements 

  • 3+ years of related experience and/or training
  • Computer skillsrequired:
    • Spreadsheet Software (Excel/Google Sheets)
    • Inventory Software 
    • Project Management software 
    • Word Processing software (Word/Google Docs)
    • Email Software (Google) 
    • MMS (Maintenance Management Software)

 

Desired Skills 

  • 3+ years of maintenance technician experience(some leadership experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVACis a plus
  • Working knowledge of facilities,machinesandmanufacturingequipment.
  • Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills 
    • Must include electrical troubleshooting, up to 480V
    • Troubleshooting for limit switches, photoeyesand other sensors 
  • Ladder logic experience is a plus
