Oversees the daily operations of the Behavioral Health Older Adult Inpatient Unit:

• Validates adherence to safety and patient care processes through presence, role-modeling and surveillance activities
• Facilitates patient throughput by ensuring adequate staff resources
• Develops staff schedules and assists with payroll processing
• Participates in employee interviews, orientation, and evaluations
• Promotes the therapeutic milieu by engaging employees and patients in meaningful positive interactions
• Assists with the development and implementation of performance improvement activities
• Maintains relationships with other hospital department leaders to support the goals and success of the organization
