Job Description
KIA of Wesley Chapel is seeking an experienced Warranty Administrator to join the team! Must be willing to work Saturdays. Our Ideal candidate has KIA Warranty Experience and must be able to work a flexible schedule.

      Duties:
    • Prepare and submit claims for manufacturers' warranty within 24 to 48 hours 
    • Maintain outstanding claims schedules with no outstanding claims over 15 days old
    • Achieve high percentage of claims paid first time submitted 
    • Research, connect, and resubmit rejected claims within 5 days. 
    • Reconcile vendor accounts.
    • Maintain accurate filing system of open claims holding for credit and authorization. 
    • Maintain accurate filing system for parts to be shipped back to factory, distributor, or to be scrapped. 
    • Build productive working relationships; consult with others as necessary.
    • Has an approachable style; foster open communication through active listening 
    • Maintain positive, professional working relationships with Manufacturers’ representatives 
    • Prioritize work to ensure all deadlines are met 
    • Maintain courteous and professional relationships in all situations with department employees
    • Follow up with the factory and distributors regarding unpaid claims.
    • Identify and support opportunities for methods/process improvement
    • Analyze problems, identify trends, and develop strategies to maximize claim process
    • Complete reports as established by dealership
    • Use computer and other record keeping systems to manage information
    • Apply information found in manuals, publications, bulletins, and other documents
    • Maintain an organized and professional environment.
    • Understand and adhere to manufacturer’s warranty and claim procedures
    • Ensure all codes, operations, parts, and sublet charges of claims are accurate
    • Provide technical information and assistance to employees as needed
    • Verify history of vehicles prior to claim submission to audit mileage, in-service date, and past repair history.
    • Maintain knowledge base on claim procedures, coverage, bulletins, campaigns, etc
    • Input claims and credit memos; prepares outstanding adjustments for variance or unapproved claims
    • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on0one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
    • Other duties to be determined by Leadership. 

      Qualifications:
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • Must be 18 years of age
    • Clean Background Check
    • Pass Drug Screening
    • Excellent communications skills
    • Team player with a great attitude
    • Authorized to work in the United States
