Job Description

Description

Provide world class technical support and service for the fleet group, fab group, and customers on issues that may arise, provide startup and commissioning services on custom build, customer sold projects, and provide warranty administration as needed. We are looking for a hands-on leader, who is technically savvy, and can work well with all levels of the team. 

Requirements

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work with and assist in day-to-day technical support operations, which encompasses advanced troubleshooting, customer service issues, sold custom package startups, and RMAs.
  • Ensure all field technical issues and concerns are addressed in a timely manner, encourage involvement from all staff, and foster a positive team environment.
  • Work closely with the fleet group in identifying repeat issue and recommend/implement package modifications/changes with the engineering group as needed.
  • Work with management to address field issues with package operational/programming changes and implement the changes for existing fleet packages.
  • Provide field level training for fleet technicians on package operations, new controller configurations and package control modifications.
  • Provide startup and commissioning of custom- built engineered product sold compressor packages.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • Associates or Equivalent Experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Leadership, planning & organizational skills required
  • Must have excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with the engineering and fleet groups to
    achieve the goals of the company.
  • Knowledge of the operational requirements for both, reciprocating, and rotary screw compressor
    packages.
  • Knowledge of electromechanical components, such as PLC’s, VFDs, end devices, and HMIs.
  • Must be willing and able to travel within the S&R Compression operating areas.
