Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner Hematology/Oncology
Sky Lakes Cancer Treatment Center | Klamath Falls, Oregon
Join an esteemed, community-focused oncology team at Sky Lakes Medical Center. We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join our collaborative group of two Hematology/Oncology physicians and two APPs. This is a rare opportunity to practice high-level specialty medicine in a setting that prioritizes patient relationships over volume.
The Practice: Patient-Centered & Collaborative
At Sky Lakes, you aren’t just a number; you are a vital part of a tight-knit team supported by dedicated MAs, Nurse Navigators, and a specialized Infusion Center scheduling team.
Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a 4-day clinical work week with one dedicated administrative day (Monday–Friday).
No Call Requirements: Your time away is truly your own.
Manageable Pacing: We believe in quality outcomes. You’ll have 1-hour slots for new patients and 30-minute follow-ups.
Patient Volume: Expect to see 8–10 patients daily initially, scaling to a comfortable 10–15 at full capacity.
Scope: Outpatient care only. While procedures are not mandated, experience with bone marrow biopsies and aspirations is a plus.
Requirements
To maintain our high standard of specialized care, we are looking for:
A minimum of 2 years of APP experience in Hematology/Oncology OR an extensive background as an Oncology RN.
A candidate adept at autonomous practice who thrives in a seamless, multidisciplinary team environment.
