Kauai Air Conditioning & Plumbing, a trusted local mechanical contractor, is seeking a motivated and hard-working individual to join our team as an entry-level Comfort Advisor Specialist. This role is ideal for someone looking to start or grow a career in residential HVAC sales support. Reliability, punctuality, professionalism, and initiative are essential.

The Comfort Advisor Specialist plays a key part in supporting the Comfort Advisor with estimating, proposal development, and selling installation projects for the HVAC department. This position assists with all Requests for Quotes (RFQs) from initial inquiry through project acceptance.

Job Functions

  • Assist Comfort Advisor in helping customers in achieving their needs by asking the right questions to get an understanding of what they want for their home or business.

  • Help educate customers on why the systems proposed will meet their needs and provide them with a healthy, comfortable, and safe environment.

  • Assist in proposal completion and ensure quotes are within the guidelines set forth by the company standards.

  • Obtain signed customer authorized agreements for all projects.

  • Support Comfort Advisor in seeking out new customers and sales opportunities.

  • Ensure company profitability by accurately proposing all jobs with an emphasis on quality and value.

  • Help in creating long-term relationships with key contacts at target customers.

  • Communicate effectively to the operations team the scope of work agreed upon with the customer by uploading pictures, drawings, and written agreements into the Service Titan in a timely manner.

  • Perform jobsite visits throughout projects to support quality and 100% customer satisfaction.

  • Attend and participate in regular scheduled sales meetings, special sales training, and technician technical training meetings on relevant topics.

  • Update the RFQ and Estimating Dashboards on a regular basis.

  • Assist in completing any HOA Documents required to get project approval.

  • Any additional duties/responsibilities deemed necessary.
