Are you a college student or recent graduate looking to gain experience in the growing field of behavioral health? Join Lenape Valley Foundation’s Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) team as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) and make a real difference in the lives of children, teens, and young adults (ages 3–21).
This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity—no prior experience required! We provide extensive paid training and ongoing support to help you grow in your career. It’s a great steppingstone for graduate programs or a licensure path.

What You Bring
- High school diploma
- Preferred but NOT required
- 40 Hour RBT Task List Training
- 2+ years experience in behavioral health
- BCaBA or Behavioral Health/Analysis Certification
- Enthusiasm for learning and helping others
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without accommodation
Your Role
- Work directly with youth and their families in home, school, and community settings.
- Support and model behavioral strategies under the guidance of a licensed Behavior Consultant.
- Help implement treatment plans and teach skills to children and caregivers.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support each child’s progress.
