E-Commerce Specialist
Location: Dallas, TX

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative E-Commerce Specialist to lead the daily operations and long-term strategy of our company’s e-commerce website. In this role, you will support both internal and external customers, improve user experience, and drive digital growth by implementing features and functions that establish Standard Supply as a leader in online buying within the HVAC industry.
Key Responsibilities
As the E-Commerce Specialist, you will:
- Support the E Commerce Manager in executing strategies to increase website usage and achieve company growth goals
- Oversee maintenance of the website, ensuring optimal performance, a user-friendly interface, and accurate product listings
- Create and maintain engaging product content, including descriptions, images, and videos, to attract and retain customers
- Handle daily online store operations such as order processing, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving support requests
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, IT, and branch operations to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Stay current with e-commerce tools and technologies to identify opportunities for functionality enhancements and improved user experience
- Identify and implement process improvements, efficiency enhancements, and cost-saving measures to improve functionality and efficiency across all e‑commerce touchpoints
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce, with a proven record of driving revenue growth
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, analytics, and basic website optimization practices
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, including keyword selection and analysis
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- HVAC industry experience preferred
