Job Description

We offer a $750 Hiring Bonus for new Team Members and $50 in gas gift cards during our onboarding process. Additionally, we offer an additional $1 per hour for hours worked from 6pm to 6am!

Performs all aspects of dealing assigned games.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:

  • Deals all games according to procedure manuals
  • Maintains games protection procedures over casino gaming cheques, playing cards, and equipment
  • Sustains friendly, supportive and enthusiastic appearance towards guests
  • Adheres to Department appearance standards
  • Displays positive acceptance of demanding scheduling needs
  • Create teamwork by helping co-workers with essential functions
  • Assists in maintaining a spotless environment by disposing of any cups, glasses or bottles left behind by guests
  • Adheres to regulatory, departmental, attendance and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
  • Must attend additional dealer training upon request
  • Other duties as assigned

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must pass a company audition demonstrating adequate gaming propensity
  • Must successfully complete and pass a math aptitude test
  • Must possess and utilize excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team across departments and levels of management
  • Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
  • A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment

 

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations and be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino including the Table Games Pit
  • Must have a sense of urgency and keep up with fast paced business practices
  • Must be able to work calmly and professionally in stressful situations
  • Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust
  • Excellent vision including peripheral for game security, required
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
  • Must be able to stand for an entire shift, up to 10 hours with breaks, required
  • Must be able to meet the level two or light work requirements based on the Department of Labor Dictionary of Titles:  Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently
