The Southeast Delco School District is recruiting Teen Leaders at APHS to participate in the Read Alliance Program
This is for the 2026 Summer.
What is the Read Alliance Program?
READ is an afterschool program offering one-to-one tutoring in reading for kindergarten, first, and second-grade students.
Teens are recruited, trained, and paid for their work as tutors, gaining valuable professional skills in the process. Additionally, teachers are recruited and trained in a valid phonics curriculum and assessment tools. READ serves as a valuable complement to the efforts of teachers during the school day, where individualized literacy support can often be challenging to provide to each child.
