Duties
Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, strips and polishes using light and heavy duty powered equipment.,Operates industrial equipment to clean rugs, drapes, etc. Performs routine maintenance of equipment. Moves heavy furniture and may make beds and changes linen.,Cleans, disinfects and deodorizes toilet facilities. Cleans, and dusts assigned areas. Empties trash. Washes walls, windows, blinds and ceiling fixtures using ladders, scaffolds and safety belt.,Maintains stock of room and cleaning supplies to perform assigned duties. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements are: Must have knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties listed above to include: Maintaining the tools and equipment of the trade Keeping assigned work area neat & clean Communicating both orally and in writing Applicants meeting the following will be considered Highly Preferred: Possess the ability to follow instructions and read signs. Possess Basic knowledge and experience of common cleaning solvents, cleaning tools, and equipment. Possess Knowledge and experience properly using a variety of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions and the ability to remove different kinds of stains from a wide variety of surfaces. ***Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. Allowances and Differentials This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
