What You’ll Do

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be the engine behind our growth. You’ll identify new opportunities, build meaningful relationships, and deliver solutions that make a real difference for our customers. Your work will include:

  • Developing and executing strategic plans that drive revenue growth and elevate customer satisfaction
  • Building and maintaining strong, professional relationships with clients and prospects
  • Leveraging financial insights to strengthen sales performance
  • Tracking and analyzing sales activity to ensure goals are met and exceeded
  • Conducting industry research to uncover trends and inform sales strategies
  • Promoting Innovative Office Solutions’ full suite of products and services
  • Leading conversations that uncover customer challenges and position our solutions effectively
  • Listening actively to understand client needs and tailor recommendations
  • Participating in community and philanthropic initiatives that reflect our values
  • Collaborating with the Sales Director to develop annual and quarterly sales strategies
  • Staying ahead of industry trends and partnering with category experts to deliver best‑in‑class solutions
  • Strengthening long‑term customer relationships through exceptional service and follow‑through
    • Streamlining ordering processes with internal teams
    • Resolving issues quickly and professionally
    • Maintaining high retention rates and deepening relationships with key purchasing contacts
  • Meeting and exceeding activity and sales goals, including:
    • Prospecting and account management through CRM tools
    • Completing dashboard activities (New Customers, Insiders, Tours, Business Reviews, Opportunities)
    • Using reports and tools to optimize performance and drive results
