About the job:
The Functional Expert is responsible for supporting a dedicated functional area (Quality Management), acting as a key interface between Business and Digital within a defined scope (geographical or business area).
This role focuses on delivering functional and technical expertise, supporting solution design and implementation, and ensuring alignment with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Digital Collaboration
- Act as a point of contact between business and Digital teams to understand and support business needs
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and user needs
- Support the design of solutions, including prototypes and functional specifications
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned with business expectations
- Contribute to testing activities (test cases definition and execution)
- Support training material preparation and end-user training
- Assist in deployment and provide post-go-live support (including L3 support when needed)
- Contribute to roadmap activities and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify gaps, improvement opportunities, and support process optimization
Functional / Technical Contribution
- Provide functional and/or technical expertise within Quality Management solutions
- Contribute across the product lifecycle (design, build, test, run)
- Support issue analysis and resolution
- Ensure documentation is complete and compliant
- Contribute to ensuring solutions meet quality, regulatory, and cybersecurity requirements
- Support system integration and alignment with architecture guidelines
- Participate in audits and inspections as needed
Continuous Improvement & Adoption
- Support solution adoption and user engagement
- Contribute to fit-gap analysis, deployments, and enhancements
- Assist in identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency
- Stay up to date with industry and technology trends
About You
Experience
- Experience in Quality Management (industry or consulting)
- Experience in pharma, consumer healthcare, or IT is a plus
- Exposure to full project lifecycle implementations is a plus
