Description
The Director of Data, Research, and Assessment leads the development and execution of Kindezi’s assessment systems and data strategy. This network-level leader ensures accurate data collection, meaningful analysis, and actionable reporting that drives instructional decision-making across all schools.
Reports to: Chief of Schools
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assessment Leadership
Develop and manage the network-wide assessment calendar
Oversee state testing logistics and compliance
Ensure standardized administration of internal and external assessments
Delivers targeted professional learning to build assessment literacy, ensuring teams can accurately interpret data, identify trends and gaps, and translate insights into timely, effective instructional actions that improve student outcomes
Data Systems & Reporting
Develop and maintain dashboards for school and network leadership
Provide regular data reports to senior leadership and the Board
Analyze academic performance trends across campuses
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems
Leads program evaluation by designing and executing clear evaluation plans, analyzing impact data, and delivering actionable insights that inform decision-making and continuous improvement
Research & Strategic Analysis
Conduct research and analysis to inform instructional and strategic decisions
Support grant reporting and performance metrics
Provide actionable insights to school leaders and academic teams
Leads innovation by researching and piloting high-impact practices across instruction and systems, rigorously measuring their effectiveness, and scaling what demonstrably improves student outcomes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Be a United States citizen or otherwise have authorization to work in the United States
Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred
Have the ability to pass an Atlanta Public Schools background check and obtain a GaPSC-issued clearance certificate
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
Valid Georgia Professional Teaching Certificate
Georgia certification in Educational Leadership preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Experience in educational data analysis and assessment systems
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:
Salary: $90,000
Compensation aligned with The Kindezi Schools’ Director salary schedule
