Job Summary:           As a Technology Product Manager for Wholesale, you will play a key role in owning the entire technology product solutions that support one of Beazley’s core value streams, Policy Servicing. You will act as the primary technology partner for Wholesale markets, translating business needs into actionable product roadmaps and driving the successful value delivery through incremental and transformational change. You will partner closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and global technology teams to ensure that platforms and systems that deliver policy servicing capabilities for Lloyds and other wholesale markets are reliable, well supported, and continuously improved. You will lead delivery activity through strong collaboration with offshore development partners and technology vendors, ensuring work aligns to agreed priorities, quality standards, and timelines. supported, and continuously improved. We seek a highly capable technology professional with experience delivering solutions for speciality commercial insurance in Lloyds and other wholesale markets. This role focusses on policy lifecycle enablement, market connectivity and operational efficiency within the Lloyds and wholesale distribution environment. The role requires a strong blend of London Market knowledge, technical platform expertise and technical product leadership with the ability to build strong partnerships across business and technology teams and drive high quality outcomes in a global enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy and Planning: Shape and execute the technology delivery strategy and roadmap for Wholesale aligned with Beazley’s modernisation and growth objectives. Drive prioritisation of initiatives and investments in collaboration with business leaders and SMEs to maximise value and accelerate transformation. Though close collaboration with business leaders, translate business requirements into technical specifications, upholding a user-centric approach in design and feature integration Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and relay feedback that informs and continuously improves product development. In collaboration with IT leadership, champion innovation and emerging technologies, assessing impact and recommending adoption to strengthen competitive advantage. Acting as the Agile Release Train Engineer to Lead quarterly portfolio PI planning events, ensuring cross stakeholder agreement and effective cross portfolio execution.   Delivery Management: Drive end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives within the Wholesale portfolio, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Champion agile and DevSecOps practices to accelerate delivery, strengthen resilience, and enhance customer experience. Own backlog governance and prioritisation, enabling effective sprint planning and seamless coordination of cross-team dependencies. Oversee feature acceptance and defect prioritisation Foster strong partnerships with vendors and service providers, ensuring contractual compliance and maximising value from external engagements. Oversee Wholesale systems governance, availability, performance, and capacity across production and non-production environments. Represent Wholesale systems during incident triage and major incidents, providing technical leadership and safeguarding business continuity. Information Security and Compliance Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Wholesale systems through robust security measures and compliance with relevant regulations. Collaborate with IT leadership, legal and compliance teams to address IT-related issues and maintain governance frameworks. Implement and maintain appropriate IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures related to Wholesale systems and data processing. Finance and Vendor Management Contribute to management of annual plans and budgets aligned to business strategies. Optimise cost efficiency across technology delivery, vendor contracts, and resource allocation. Person Specification: Essential Criteria Must have proven product management experience in technology delivery within Commercial Lines insurance within Lloyds London Markets. With a deep understanding of market structures (syndicates, MGAs, brokers and coverholders), subscription market dynamics, lineslips and contract certainty principles. Must have knowledge and experience of the complete policy lifecycle from submission to quote to renew or cancel, MTAs, Endorsements, Rating, Policy Issuance, Policy Documents, Premium Booking and Settlement, Handling complex multi-layer placements, Operational SLAs and service models. Must have knowledge and experience with broker-led placements, negotiations and versioning, delegated authority, client-broker-carrier servicing dynamics, UK and Lloyds regulatory requirements. Must have strong experience managing a complex portfolio with multiple suppliers and global teams Must have knowledge and expertise in Core Policy Administration Systems (PAS) functionality and architecture for speciality and subscription business, complex risk and layered policy handling, product configuration and rating logic, endorsement and renewal processing, billing and settlement integration, document generation engines and wordings. Must have knowledge and experience in Guidewire and/or Synergy. Other experience such Underwriting workbenches, placement platforms and other policy systems such as Subscribe would also be an advantage. Must have knowledge and experience of PAS systems integration, APIs, middleware/orchestration, market messaging, bureau and central services integration, legacy batch, SQL/database interactions and ETL mechanisms Must have knowledge and experience of digital placement platforms, evidence-of-cover solutions, bordereaux and delegated reporting Must have and understanding of data and reporting needs from Operations, Regulatory Compliance, Finance and Claims in relation to policy data records. Preferred Education and Qualifications Data Literacy (SQL, BI Tools, data modelling) University degree or equivalent experience.
