As one of North America's fastest-growing dental groups, we're driven by our vision to provide exceptional, comprehensive dental services all under one roof. Established in 2008, we’re proud to be clinician-founded and clinician-led, with a focus on patient-centered care and an unwavering commitment to innovation and growth.

Our Dental Specialty Director is a dynamic, compassionate leader who takes pride in delivering operational excellence and exceptional patient experiences. They provide strong leadership, clear direction, and unwavering support to their teams — creating a culture built on accountability, growth, and collaboration. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with a deep understanding of dental specialty operations and a passion for driving both clinical and financial performance across multiple lines of business

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and support a regional portfolio of specialty business, overseeing field employees including Regional Managers, Office Managers, and clinical teams across all specialty lines—Periodontics, Endodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery.

  • Drive revenue growth and operational excellence across each specialty by setting clear goals, monitoring performance, and implementing strategies that improve patient access, treatment acceptance, and overall profitability.

  • Expand the regional specialty footprint through strategic development initiatives, including de novo openings, integration of specialty services into existing general practices, and market optimization opportunities.

  • Partner with Recruiting, Clinical, and Operations leadership to attract, develop, and retain top talent, ensuring specialty teams are well-trained, supported, and aligned with company standards.

  • Own full P&L responsibility for the region, managing performance against financial goals and identifying opportunities for sustainable growth and margin improvement.

  • Develop and execute regional business plans focused on increasing referral flow, enhancing specialty case starts, and maximizing the utilization of all specialty providers.

  • Foster a high-performing, patient-first culture built on teamwork, accountability, trust, and mutual respect.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and clinical leadership to strengthen the integration between general dentistry and specialty care.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and the highest standards of clinical and operational integrity.

· Continuously improve processes, systems, and workflows to increase efficiency, consistency, and service quality across the region.

· This role will include 50% travel.

Key Competencies for Success

  • A positive, motivating leadership style with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.

  • Strong business and financial acumen, including proven success managing P&L, budgets, and performance metrics in a multi-site environment.

  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth, scale operations, and expand market presence in a competitive healthcare environment.

A passion for patient satisfaction and operational excellence, with a track record of turning strategy into measurable results.

What do you need to have to be a part of our team?

  • 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience within a multi-unit DSO organization.

  • Specialty dental experience required, with knowledge of Periodontics, Endodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery.
