Space Coast Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated rehabilitation team. In this role, you will work closely with the Physical Therapist to help residents regain strength, mobility, and independence while delivering the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in providing safe, effective, and individualized therapy treatments.

• Follow established departmental policies and maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.

• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure resident well-being.

• Maintain a clean, organized therapy environment with properly functioning equipment.

• Promptly report hazardous conditions or equipment concerns to your supervisor.

• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.

• Immediately notify your supervisor of missing or unclear labels or Safety Data Sheets (SDSs).

Requirements

• Licensure: Current, active, and unrestricted Florida PTA license.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursing home or rehabilitation setting preferred.

• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
