Job Description

First Financial Bank has an immediate opening for a Post Closing Analysts and Servicing Specialist in the Farm & Ranch Division located in Louisville, Kentucky.

 

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Ag Loan Office and management in post-closing and servicing of loans in the performance of the daily duties as outlined below.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  High school diploma or GED; Position requires associate degree or equivalent business school training; minimum of 2 years equivalent experience; or combination of education and experience.

 

COMPLEXITY:  Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, volume and percentages. Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Requires attention to details and accuracy in record keeping and reporting due to impact on customer relations. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Preparing approved loans for closing process and selling into the secondary market. Collection and tracking of post-closing documents to complete loan file. i.e. recorded documents and final title policies. Partial releases, collateral substitutions Finalize the closed loans and image loan files. Update and prepare reports. Ensure accurate credit reporting: research disputes, perform loan and credit reporting file maintenance as needed. Audits: internal, external and investor – work with staff to prepare for audits ensuring the most current and accurate information is provided. Prepare and Perform quality control on loan set up/modification/extension documents, partial releases, subordinations, and substitutions of collateral. Underwrite and prepare payment modifications – payment date changes and deferrals. Prepare all loan denials and withdrawals. Manage delinquent account info in conjunction with loan officers and contractors. Prepare loan delinquency reports for both FFB and FMAC loans. Maintain and update servicing spreadsheets: Contractor servicing, FMAC, FMAC RLOC. Complete contractor origination/servicing/account info requests. Organize FMAC hard files to send to FMAC and sending fee breakdown to FFB when applicable. Prepare and submit all documents to obtain FSA guarantees. Collection of YE financials for Annual Financial Updates. QC each month loans requested by Compliance QC from corporate. Assist closing department with research and clearing of all outstanding QC exceptions.

 

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  Proficient in Microsoft Office products and imaging software. Ability to multi-task, pay close attention to detail, and exercise critical thinking skills. Good telephone and people skills a must. Looking for someone who is a self-starter, able to work independently and works well under deadlines.
