Job Description

Viaero Fiber is looking for a Permitting Coordinator to report directly to the Permitting Manager. This individual will be required to track submittal of permits, processing status and receipt of multiple projects at the same time. This person will work onsite at our VFN Headquarters in Fort Morgan. 

Responsibilities:

  • Research and Compile Permit Documents
  • Determine permit types and municipalities required for each project
  • Assist with submitting and tracking Permit/Agreement of Utility assessment
  • Assist with coordinating with jurisdiction of municipalities, railroads, irrigation companies and private parties.
  • Manage and track assigned permits throughout all processes
  • Request PO/Check request to pay fees
  • Work with multiple Architects, Engineers and Customers
  • Maintain Accurate Records, Logs, and Spreadsheets
  • Manage and coordinate the routine tracking of the project with external agencies
  • Update network databases daily with documents and statuses

Qualifications:

  • Must have intermediate Microsoft Office computer skills experience including spreadsheets.
  • Must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to identify Problems and recommend resolutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven decision-making skills and the ability to succeed in a dynamic environment.
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities and/or environments if necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a utility/residential/commercial construction permitting role.
  • Experience with a database tracking timelines and deliverables.
  • Experience working in a construction back-office environment.

Typically, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. May consider 4 10-hour shifts, with set day off between Monday and Friday.
