Job Description

Join our dynamic team of experienced therapists in beautiful upstate NY. Racker provides progressive strength based preschool program; and early intervention and pre-school evaluations in Cortland, Tompkins and Tioga Counties. This position will be based in the Ithaca location.

Join a team of clinicians to provide occupational therapy services to early intervention, pre-school, and school aged children. In this role, you will plan and implement an integrated therapeutic program for each child on your caseload, in accordance with family and educational goals, and promote an environment which aides maximal functional capabilities.

Our classroom Occupational Therapists have an opportunity to work on an interdisciplinary team, receive mentoring and continuing education, and are provided with materials and technology for treatment and documentation. They have the opportunity to plan and implement an integrated therapeutic program for each child.

Starting Salary is $50,000 - $60,000

  • Plan treatment goals and provide therapy in a variety of manners and settings
  • Plan and implement an integrated therapeutic program for each assigned child
  • Provide evaluations and screening in a variety of settings, including team evaluations and community screenings.
  • Assess for, make, fit and maintain adaptive equipment as needed, on an individual basis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy; licensed by the New York State Education Department
  • Valid New York State Driver’s license with relatively clean driving record
  • Pediatric experience preferred
