BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

The Right of Way Permitting Tech. will report directly to the Senior Road Manager and must become

an integral member of the Eddy County Road Department�s supervisory staff. Under general

supervision, inspects & coordinates the installation and construction of public infrastructure. The

employee will assist the Senior Road Manager in all aspects of the operation of the Eddy County

Road Department. The position requires working with BLM/State on permitting requirements: Pits,

Roads, Leases, Covert Permits, Right of Entry, and other permits that are needed for road

construction. The successful candidate will direct employees in safety and adherence to all local,

state and federal regulations, team building, work performance evaluations, policy and procedure,

work quality, equipment operations, project evaluation, design and management, public safety and

public awareness. The employee may be required to work overtime, irregular hours, attend job

related meetings/training, both in and out of state, and perform other tasks as assigned.

STARTING SALARY RANGE:

$31.15 - $34.38 PER HOUR DOE
