Responsibilities

• Design and prototype high-fidelity user interfaces in Figma, maintaining scalable design systems and components.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure seamless implementation of visual and interactive designs.
• Create motion graphics, micro-interactions, and marketing visuals using After Effects and related tools.
• Contribute to the overall brand and visual direction, ensuring consistency across web, mobile, and content assets.
• Develop design documentation, style guides, and component libraries to standardize UI delivery.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in UI or product design, with a strong visual and motion portfolio.
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and After Effects.
• Strong understanding of design systems, layout, typography, and responsive design.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers and understand constraints across web and mobile platforms.
• Experience with motion design, video editing, or marketing animations is essential.

Compensation

DAERO welcomes candidates across a wide range of experience levels and skill sets. We hire first for character, craft, and impact; then match scope, title, and compensation to the value you’re able to bring. For this role, the expected salary range is $90,000–$130,000 USD per year, depending on skills, scope, and location (US-based).

The actual salary will be determined during the interview process based on a consistent evaluation of role fit and responsibility, whether you’re earlier in your career or bringing more senior, architectural experience.
