We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer with strong ASP.NET experience to join our team supporting our government customer located in the Washington DC metro area. This is an onsite work opportunity. U.S. Citizenship required. This is a 1 year project.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop responsive, accessible UI components using React and TypeScript in alignment with federal accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508)
- Translate wireframes, UX designs, and acceptance criteria into high-quality, production-ready code
- Integrate RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs to deliver dynamic, data-driven user experiences
- Develop and maintain unit tests using Vitest to ensure code quality, reliability, and compliance with program standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects identified through QA testing and user feedback
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with security, performance, and usability requirements
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 6 years experience developing front-end applications using React and TypeScript
- Demonstrated ability to build UI components based on wireframes and UX specifications
- Experience writing unit tests for front-end applications (Vitest or similar frameworks)
- Exposure to Azure applications; Azure DevOps tools
- Understanding of secure coding practices and experience working in compliance-driven environments
- Excellent communication (verbal) skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- U.S. Citizenship required (due to federal contract requirements)
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Ant Design, React Query, Zustand, or similar modern UI frameworks and state management tools
- Experience supporting federal programs
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments within government programs
- Active Public Trust or security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
