SUMMARY

The Detailer supports shop operations by performing thorough inspection and cleaning of repaired vehicles before delivery. You�ll also help keep the facility running smoothly through routine shop maintenance, organization, and equipment care.

WHAT YOU�LL DO

  • Perform complete interior/exterior detailing and cleaning prior to customer delivery

  • Visually inspect repaired areas; promptly notify the GM or assigned technician of any defects

  • Assist with general facility maintenance and upkeep of outside grounds

  • Inspect goods/products against quality and safety standards

  • Help ensure test equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly

  • Consistently use required PPE; follow hazardous waste disposal rules; participate in monthly safety meetings

  • Maintain service tools/equipment in the detail department; organize personal work area and return tools/materials to designated locations

  • Identify opportunities to improve quality control processes

  • Perform routine cleaning (mopping, dusting, sweeping, trash) and restroom servicing

  • Make minor repairs as needed (e.g., changing light bulbs)

WHAT YOU BRING

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Valid Driver�s License with a good driving record

  • Prior automotive experience strongly preferred (not required)

  • Clear, professional communication and basic mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Flexibility to support changing shop needs and priorities

  • Strong team mindset with a focus on customer experience
