We are looking for an exceptional GRC Intern for the vCISO practice to support our security operations and help protect client and internal environments against cyber threats.

As a GRC Intern, you will support our virtual CISO (vCISO) team in delivering cybersecurity leadership, strategy, and execution support to our clients. At Echelon, we believe learning never stops. You will have the opportunity to engage with systems that are at the cutting edge of technology and team members who will challenge you with meaningful work. We allow our team members to build from the ground up and make an impact across the organization.

Application Details: This is a 6-month internship expected to average 20–25 hours per week. Compensation ranges from $10–$15 USD per hour, depending on relevant experience. The internship will begin in May as part of our Summer 2026 Cohort and is designed to run for six months, with the possibility of an extension based on performance and business needs.

  • Participate in internal and client meetings to observe and support advisory discussions.
  • Conduct research on cybersecurity trends, regulations, and best practices to support client recommendations
  • Shadow senior consultants to understand client interactions and project workflows.
  • Collaborate on and contribute to client-facing and internal reports and presentations.
  • Collaborate with a multinational, remote-first team and network with cybersecurity professionals across disciplines.

Your knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (8 AM–5 PM CST, Monday–Friday).
  • Authorized to work in Mexico.
  • Only resumes submitted in English will be considered.
