Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) develops, implements, and evaluates individualized patient care plans and may provide direct patient care in a clinical setting. The RN is expected to assess, analyze, and respond to patient needs within the scope of professional nursing practice and in accordance with organizational policies and clinical standards.
The RN serves as an integral member of the Care Coordination Team, collaborating with providers, care coordinators, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care, care transitions, patient education, and improved health outcomes. The RN contributes to care planning, follow-up, referrals, and coordination of services to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Education: Associate’s, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing
Experience: Two or more years of experience in a clinical setting.
Licenses, Certification, and/or Registrations: Current licensure by the Alabama Board of Nursing and must be Certified to practice Nursing in the State of Alabama. BLS certification.
