Description

Hot Tub Technician - Pacific City

The Hot Tub Technicians primary function is to ensure that all hot tubs are properly serviced, cleaned, and maintained to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our guests and owners. This position will also be responsible for any hot tub related emergencies or issues that may arise during guests’ stays along with additional light maintenance.

Areas of Responsibility and Duties:

  • Complete assigned daily work orders
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of all hot tubs ensuring they are safe and hygienic; balancing chemicals adjusting water levels, cleaning, and sanitizing, maintaining optimal pH and chlorine levels.
  • Conduct regular inspections of hot tubs to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose hot hut issues and provide timely and effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all hot tub maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure that all hot tubs are compliant with safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Responding to guests’ inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
  • Install new hot tub components such as pumps, heaters, and jets. Assisting with new hot tubs as directed.
  • Provide recommendations for upgrades or replacement of hot tubs.
  • Other maintenance related duties as assigned.
  • Observe established policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Basic understanding of on general home maintenance
  • Knowledge of hot tubs and related equipment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to learn and use new software and tools.
  • Valid Driver’s License with Clean Driving Record
  • Have a cell phone that can access the web and download apps.
  • Ability to work in outdoor conditions.

Experience

  • 2 years’ experience in general maintenance or hot tub maintenance
  • 1 years’ experience customer service

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to walk
  • Use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • Reach with hands and arms
  • Climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. 

Schedule:

This position is a full-time, year-round, position located in Pacific City, OR. Scheduled days based on business needs. Weekend work is required. Holiday work may be required based on business needs.
