We are looking for a reliable Environmental Plant Manager for the Greater Pennsylvania Region to ensure all company bulk storage facilities are in compliance with environmental laws. You will also be responsible for establishing and implementing internal policies that will maintain said compliance and aid in the overall upkeep and performance of company storage facilities.
Your specific duties in this role will include:
Physical Plant Maintenance / Compliance
Serve as support and additional set of eyes on plant inspections and maintenance.
Inspect and audit bulk storage locations for physical and regulatory compliance.
Integrate with existing site personnel to support or accomplish periodic bulk storage plant related tasks.
Operate a CDL-B Vac Truck for plant maintenence.
Internal Compliance
Assist the existing Directors of Environmental Compliance in daily tracking of all company Environmental Compliance using existing databases
Conduct annual tour of all facilities to review and update safety polices and provide training where applicable, while reinforcing the company’s ongoing commitment to a strong compliance culture.
Training
Conduct on-site training sessions involving Haz-Mat Response, SPCC, FRP/PREP, UST/AST and stromwater related topics.
Carry out other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
As a Plant Manager, you must be professional and possess the ability to function equally well in both a team environment and independently. You must also be highly detail oriented and focused with a flexible and adaptable nature. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills as well as the ability to interact effectively with both customer and coworkers.
- CDL-B Driver's License with HazMat endorsement
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an environmental professional
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of DEP, EPA, USCG, DOT OSHA and other applicable environmental health and safety standards.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and Team orientated.
- Well organized and ability to multi-task.
- High energy, self-motivated, and quick thinking.
- Comfort working within a structured environment.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and/or independently towards a common team goal.
- Willingness and ability to work additional hours when necessary based on workload and volume.
- Work closely with Environmental Directors to ensure continuity of the compliance effort at our bulk storage plants.
- Must be able to conduct On the Road field Audits.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License with clean record and ability to meet the company's motor vehicle policy.
