Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team in Maine. The ideal candidate will support students in developing the skills necessary for academic success, independence, and participation in daily school activities. This role involves working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide school-based therapeutic services.

Job requirements:
Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct assessments to identify student’s needs and develop appropriate school-based treatment plans
School-Based Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy and consultation services to students with identified needs within the scope of school-based services, including adapting classroom environments, materials, and activities to meet student needs.
Multidisciplinary Teamwork, Collaboration, and Consultation: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the development and implementation of individualized strategies for student success.
IEP Development, Progress Monitoring, and Reporting: Actively participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and track student progress; maintain accurate records of therapy, assessments, billing, and progress reports to maintain IEP compliance with state and federal regulations.
Behavioral/Sensory Support: Provide interventions that support students in both the academic and functional areas, including providing training and resources to staff as needed.
Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
