DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Greets telephone clients and takes meal orders. Demonstrates excellent telephone skills. Processes orders. Checks trays and expedites meals. Follows D-10 standards and philosophy. Keeps accurate department records. Demonstrates a commitment to quality and the concept of teamwork.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional/Educational

Ability to read and write is required.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Associates degree in dietetics preferred.

Current Food Service Sanitation Certificate or Illinois Food Handler Training Certificate. Or must obtain one of the previously listed within 30 days of date of hire.

Two years experience in hospital food service preferred.

Experience in computers necessary.

Excellent telephone skills are required.
