Who You Are:
Our concession position will include taking orders for food and drink as a walk-up cashier. You will assist with drinks and refills, as well as making handmade milkshakes. Customers will receive a pager to alert them when the food is ready, and you will distribute the orders accordingly. You will also be responsible for keeping the dining room clean and organized during service. This position will serve canned beer and cocktails, so it requires a minimum age of 18 years. This role requires a professional demeanor with excellent communication skills and a desire to expand your food & beverage curiosity. Essential Job Duties:
- Greet guests warmly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Use the provided tools/equipment as directed by bar management
- Provide detailed information on menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Assist in serving tables, food, and beverages
- Cleaning and bussing tables
- Serve canned beer and cocktails, soda, and refills
- Mix and serve milkshakes
- Serve food and beverages in an elegant and timely manner
- Maintain an organized workspace and cleanliness throughout service
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns
- Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service
- Assist with special requests and dietary requirements
- Uphold the highest standards of etiquette and service protocols
- Work closely with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure seamless service
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Other duties as assigned
Skills / Knowledge Required:
- Previous experience as a bartender preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a commitment to hospitality
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods
- Able to reach and bend routinely and frequently lift up to 30 pounds
