Job Description

Job Duties

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul equipment and perform preventative and predictable maintenance tasks
  • Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem solving on process and packaging equipment
  • Effectively communicate with operators, peers, supervisors, and all levels of management
  • Provide support where needed and complete all duties assigned by team leader
  • Adhere to all safety policies including Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO), confined space procedures and all other plant safety policies

 

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is necessary
  • 1-3 years in manufacturing industry is preferred. If applicants do not have manufacturing experience, on-the-job training will be offered.
  • Previous machine operation, material handling, production or other warehouse related experience is mandatory.
  • Basic math, measurement, computer skills, and ability to follow directions.
  • NMP employees must be able to repeatedly lift up to 10lbs and occasionally lift up to 30lbs as needed.
  • Ability to follow all safety and health regulations
