The Tollway is a user-fee system – no state or federal tax dollars are used to support maintenance and operations. Operations are funded by toll and concession revenues.


Under the leadership of the Board of Directors and Executive Staff, the Tollway is committed to achieving the following goals: increase collaboration with regional transportation and planning agencies, promote the regional economy, maintain financial integrity, foster environmental responsibility and sustainability, maintain the safety and efficiency of the Tollway system, further transparency and accountability, enhance customer service, and maintain public trust.


The Data Governance Analyst will support the Tollway’s data governance initiatives. This role will work closely with the General Manager of Data Governance & Deprecation to implement and maintain data governance policies, standards, and practices that ensure data quality, protection, and compliance across the enterprise.

Position Duties

  • Assist in developing and implementing data governance policies, standards, and procedures
  • Conduct data quality assessments and develop improvement strategies
  • Support the creation and maintenance of data inventories and enterprise information maps
  • Collaborate with business units to identify data stewards and clarify data ownership
  • Analyze and document data flows, data lineage, and metadata
  • Assist in the development and tracking of data governance metrics and KPIs
  • Support compliance efforts related to data protection regulations
  • Contribute to the creation of data governance training materials and documentation
  • Participate in data governance committee meetings and initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

Education (Required)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field

Skills and Experience (Required)
  • Two to four years of experience in data analysis, data management, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand terms for non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with data quality and metadata management tools is a plus
