Key Responsibilities:

- Examine, diagnose, and treat dental issues in pediatric patients, including infants, children, and adolescents

- Perform dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, and sealants

- Monitor growth and development of children's teeth and jaws, providing guidance on orthodontic needs if applicable

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards

- Collaborate with dental team members and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

- Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry through continuing education and professional development


Skills and Qualifications:

- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution

- Valid state dental license and certification in pediatric dentistry (if applicable)

- Proven experience in pediatric dentistry or a related field

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children and their families

- Compassionate, patient, and able to create a welcoming environment for young patients

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
