Main Stakeholders for this ABO include Jacqueline Sutterley, Melodye Baker and Jennifer Ainsworth.
Project Description:
The purpose of this ABO is to bring together past participants and managers of past participants to capture meaningful feedback on the Engineering Boot Camp
experience. This forum will allow participants to reflect on the value the program delivered, identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborate on refinements that will strengthen future sessions. The ABO supports continuous improvement, alignment with business needs, and the ongoing development of early career engineers.
This is an engaging opportunity for employees to contribute to the development of early career engineers. By participating in this project, team members will have the
opportunity to directly improve the experience of incoming engineers and influence the content that is intended to shape their early development. The primary goal of this
project is to improve upon the Engineering Boot Camp content to ensure alignment with Olin’s business objectives and site needs. Participating in this ABO delivers
meaningful value for individuals, teams, and the broader business by:
• Strengthening Early‐Career Development. Your insights help refine a program that accelerates new engineers’ technical understanding, development in role,
site readiness, and organizational connections—ultimately building a more capable future workforce.
• Aligning the Program to Real Business Needs ‐ Manager and participant perspectives ensure the Boot Camp reflects the evolving requirements of Manufacturing,
Engineering, Maintenance/Reliability, Global Process Technology, and EHS, improving alignment with actual on the job expectations, Edgy Commerce, Productivity Sustainability, Exercise Leadership, Process Safety Improvement, Other Lifting People
• Driving Continuous Improvement ‐ This ABO creates a structured forum to validate what works, identify content gaps, and design enhancements that elevate program
quality, engagement, and consistency across sites, divisions, and all Olin segments.
• Enhancing Team and Organizational Impact ‐ Improved Boot Camp content equips new engineers to contribute more effectively and confidently, supporting safety,
reliability, and operational excellence.
• Shaping the Employee Experience ‐ By influencing curriculum, flow, and practical skill development, participants help ensure new engineers feel supported, connected, and prepared, strengthening retention and long‐term career satisfaction.
This short-term project assignment will span approximately 1-2 months and will require approximately 3% of your time per month.
During this project you will:
