This role involves directing, monitoring, assessing and handling Financial Lines claims and related aspects arising under Financial Lines
This position is accountable for:
- Claims Service
- Claims Quality
- Claims Reporting
- Expense Management
- Understanding and challenging legal advice as required on claims
- Provision of claims analysis and trends observed
Qualifications
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High degree of attention to detail & excellent analytic skills.
- Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills and capability to collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive and flexible approach to work.
- Approachable and friendly attitude.
- Ability to work autonomously, employ initiative to find solutions, prioritize and exercise discretion.
- Excellent organizational and administration skills.
- Technical competence with software packages, including MSWord, Excel and Power-point.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Law preferred.
3-5 years in Financial Lines claims handling or similar relevant insurance experience preferred.
Advantage for those with experience in Legal practice.
