Job Description

Job Title: Curriculum Inventory - Temporary Summer Staff


Exemption Status/Test: Nonexempt


Reports to: IMA Coordinator


Pay: $20 per hour


Dept./School: Curriculum Dept.


Date Revised: 3/23/2026



Work Days:  (dependent on materials being received)


June 1 - July 30 (7am-5pm Mon-Wed, 7am-4:30 pm on Thursdays)


*30 minute lunch

Primary Purpose: Receive and distribute instructional materials.  Inventory, barcode,  and prepare curriculum materials for our new elementary school.  


 


Qualifications:


      Education/Certification:



  • Current teacher of Waller ISD

  • Clear and valid driver’s license


Experience:



  • Organization must be a strength

  • Capable of picking up boxes up to 50 lbs.

  • Good understanding of how to work in Google Sheets

  • Material management preferred, not required


Major Responsibilities and Duties:


Inventory



  • Receive new instructional materials in the warehouse

  • Identify, inspect, and log receipt of orders.

  • Barcode needed items (identified products)

  • Input/transfers materials in Resource Manager

  • Organize instructional materials in the warehouse

  • Separate instructional materials by product and by campus


 


Campus Support



  • Assist in the delivery and distribution of instructional materials to the campuses

  • Travel to campuses as needed.

  • Moving boxes to sort items for scanning and delivering.


 


Other



  • Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy.

  • Comply with all district and campus routines and regulations.

  • Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.

  • Other job duties as assigned.


Supervisory Responsibilities:


Must be able to work well with a team of professionals.


Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:




  • Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment, including computer and peripherals.




  • Posture: Prolonged standing, bending over, kneeling.




  • Motion: Repetitive hand and arm motions.




  • Lifting: Must be able to lift boxes up to 50 lbs.




  • Environment: Work is primarily performed in a warehouse environment with frequent district wide travel.   Indoor and outdoor work environments.




  • Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress.
