YOUR SCHEDULE AS A LEAD MOBILE DIESEL MECHANIC
- 8AM–5PM, Mon–Fri (Saturday TBD)
YOUR DAY AS OUR LEAD MOBILE DIESEL MECHANIC
When you join our team as our Lead Mobile Diesel Mechanic, you will:
- Lead advanced mobile diagnostics and repairs for diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, suspension, brakes, and more
- Use professional-grade software: Cummins Insite, CAT ET, Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link
- Complete and oversee preventative maintenance tasks including oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and full inspections
- Perform DOT and FDOT inspections on customer equipment
- Respond quickly and professionally to high-priority mobile service calls using a fully stocked truck
- Coordinate and source parts through customer and office communication
- Keep organized records of parts, diagnostics, and services completed
- Serve as the senior tech others turn to - verifying work, troubleshooting, and solving issues others can't
- Stay updated on the latest technology and repair practices
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience; mobile/field (preferred)
- ASE and OEM training (Cummins, CAT, Detroit) (strongly preferred)
- Strong diagnostic capabilities
- Advanced skill in electrical, brake, hydraulic, and suspension systems
- Full tool set
- A clean driving record
- Independent, reliable, and customer‑focused
- Professional attitude and a commitment to doing the job right
- Bonus points: CDL and DOT inspection credentials
