What you will be doing:
As the Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will be assisting our residents in our formal dining venue, The Landing. Duties include:
- Oversees aspects of the Independent Living (IL) dining operations, while providing and exemplifying teamwork, leadership, and hospitality to various day-to-day dining operations.
- Liaison between residents, family members, and RPP dining leadership, to provide gracious hospitality and comfort to those in need.
- Coordinator of the first line of service for our residents, while supporting the line staff in their efforts to provide service excellence.
- Oversees meal service operations in IL, while following all federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines for food service facilities regarding sanitation, maintenance, and safety.
- Participates in hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and disciplining all dining staff on proper production, set-up, and clean-up, including food safety and customer service techniques.
- Plans and conducts mandatory, monthly training sessions with service staff in areas as directed.
- Experience with both FOH & BOH. From expediting food to serving the tables in a professional and upscale manner.
- Completes resident move in to ensure the highest degree of resident care and customer satisfaction possible. Meets with new residents upon admission as needed per the direction of the Assistant Director or Director of Dining Services.
What we are looking for:
- Associate's Degree preferred. High School Diploma/GED required.
- 2 years supervisory experience in a CCRC or Healthcare Dining operation required.
- ServSafe Certificate or Food Handlers certification preferred.
- Ability to uphold our core values, and follow policies and procedures.
- Must be able to take initiative to always find a way to say yes to both our residents and staff.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, have reliable transportation, and be on time for scheduled shifts.
- Most importantly, have a positive attitude and be able to smile at all times.
