Project Delivery Oversight – this is a PM responsibility
- Manage daily oversight of in‑flight projects, ensuring accurate tracking of status, milestones, dependencies, RAID items, and delivery health.
- Maintain high‑quality project documentation and ensure PMO standards are consistently followed.
- Coordinate with IT Business Partners, project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and effective issue resolution.
2.2 Financial Governance – this is a PM responsibility
- Track actuals vs forecast and support month‑end consolidation.
- Perform variance analysis, highlighting cost risks or opportunities early.
- Work closely with Finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, cost reconciliation, and financial controls.
2.3 Resource & Capacity Management
- Support resource planning, onboarding, contract extensions, utilisation tracking, and allocation across the project portfolio.
- Monitor capacity and support alignment between resource demand, project load, and prioritisation decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure adequate resourcing throughout the lifecycle.
2.4 Portfolio Reporting & Governance
- Produce regular governance reports and dashboards, summarising delivery progress, risks, RAID, financial impacts, and resourcing.
- Provide inputs for PMO governance meetings, SteerCo papers, and senior leadership updates.
- Ensure PMO standards, templates, reporting cadence, and RAID management discipline are applied across all projects.
