Water's Edge Resort and Spa is accepting application for housekeeping team members. Housekeepers ensure the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel, contributing to a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests. This position requires high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail in order to exceed guest expectations for a pleasant and memorable stay.
Primary Tasks:
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily, including making beds, changing linens, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms according to established standards.
- Replenish guest room amenities, such as toiletries, towels, and stationery, ensuring adequate supplies for guest comfort.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance needs and report any issues to the appropriate department (e.g., engineering, maintenance).
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, aiding with extra amenities, directions, or other needs.
- Adhere to strict safety and sanitation procedures, using appropriate cleaning products and techniques to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and guest service.
- Maintain guest confidentiality and privacy, respecting guest belongings and ensuring a secure environment.
