    Qualifications: Special Education (282) Certification and current CHRC Authorization through State of Maine Department of Education.

    Description: MSAD 11 is seeking an exceptional special educator with a strong background in developing programming and interventions for elementary students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs in a special program.

    The successful candidate will:

    • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.
    • Collect and utilize behavioral and academic data to inform and implement

      interventions and instruction.

    • Supervise, support, and enhance the skills of education technicians.
    • Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work as part of a team and to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
    • Exhibit the ability to seek creative solutions to emerging issues.
    • Be able to write goals, conduct progress monitoring, and complete progress reporting: all other IEP paperwork is conducted by an individual dedicated to paperwork.
