Job Summary:

The Buyer is responsible for processing invoices, supporting purchasing activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and audit requirements. The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with vendors, internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase parts, materials, and services for the Service Department based on price, urgency, and availability.
  • Collaborate with foreman, technicians, and warehouse staff to identify, procure, and distribute parts efficiently.
  • Manage warranty procedures, including parts under warranty, exchanges, returns, and vendor communication.
  • Source and price supplies, tools, and inventory as required by operations.
  • Prepare estimates and support quotes, proposals, repairs, startups, and stock inventory.
  • Accurately process purchase orders and maintain vendor accounts, pricing records, and purchasing systems.
  • Track and monitor materials through the supply chain to ensure timely delivery and efficient handling.
  • Work with the warehouse manager to identify parts received and proper distribution of parts to ensure efficient delivery of parts
  • Perform all other duties assigned by management

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, purchasing, or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems
  • Must possess strong analytical, communication, multi-tasking, and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully manage relationships with team members, technicians, operational staff, sales staff, and all co-workers
  • Skilled at establishing and working collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic team environment with multiple and priorities

Salary range: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
