Senior Administrative Assistant
Position Summary
The Senior Administrative Assistant serves as a trusted partner to the Camp Director, helping carry out the mission of the ministry by providing reliable, thoughtful, and caring support. This role is not only about handling details and logistics but also about creating space for the Director to focus on people and ministry impact. With a heart for service and a gift for organization, the Senior Administrative Assistant helps ensure that both the daily tasks and the bigger picture run smoothly for the good of the team and those we serve.
Key Responsibilities
Support for the Director
Partner closely with the Director to manage schedules, priorities, and daily tasks.
Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations in a way that reflects the ministry’s mission and values.
Coordinate travel, accommodations, and itineraries with care and attention to detail.
Help prepare for meetings by organizing agendas, materials, and follow-up action items.
Administrative & Office Care
Manage incoming calls, emails, and mail with professionalism and warmth.
Keep records, files, and databases organized and accurate.
Support ministry procedures with integrity and excellence.
Coordination & Communication
Organize staff meetings, retreats, and special gatherings, making sure details are handled and people feel cared for.
Track projects and deadlines to ensure follow-through.
Help keep communication flowing between the Director, staff, ministry partners, and guests.
Hospitality & Representation
Welcome visitors, donors, and ministry partners in a way that reflects Christ-centered values.
Draft and edit ministry communications or updates when needed.
Respond to inquiries in a timely and caring manner on behalf of the Director.
Process & Project Support
Develop simple systems that make ministry work easier and more effective.
Anticipate needs and help resolve challenges before they become problems.
Assist with special projects that support ministry goals.
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once.
Clear and kind written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable using Google Workspace, and similar tools.
Trustworthy, discreet, and dependable with sensitive information.
A heart for ministry and alignment with the mission and values of the organization.

Compensation
The salary for this position will be based on the Ministry Partner Development (MPD) funds that are raised. After a goal for salary is determined the ministry will provide resources and training to help reach that goal.
The business expenses will be covered by Life Action Ministries.
