About the Department
The City of Surprise Human Service & Community Vitality Department is looking for our next team member! The General Service Worker will support programs and activities for the Active Adult & Senior Services Division. The ideal candidate requires an outgoing personality who enjoys working in group settings. This position will be used in support of day-to-day programming the Senior Center.
This position will be scheduled approximately 18 hours per week. Work hours will be primarily Monday – Friday and will vary depending on program needs.
SUMMARY
Provides a diverse range of routine general services support to a specified department/unit. May perform clerical services, general labor work and services and/or customer services, and/or other related duties in accordance with day-to-day requirements of the specified department.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have at the time of hire and be able to maintain a valid Arizona driver license.
Applicants whose education, training and experience most closely meet the needs of the position may be invited to participate in a selection process to include a panel interview.
