Job Description

Are you an Experienced ERP Systems Manager with experience managing Infor LN Cloud ERP? Can you help us to continue to turn metals into motion?

 

At Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for an ERP Systems Manager to join our Group Head Office Team based remotely to the UK.  

 

Working hours – Monday to Thursday 8:30 – 5, Friday 8:30 – 2:10

 

Travel requirements – up to 15-20%

The Role 

 

As an ERP Service Manager, you are responsible for the overall management, support, and continuous improvement of the organization’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, predominately Infor LN (Cloud). This role ensures the ERP platform operates efficiently, aligns with business needs, and delivers high-quality service to end users. You will act as a bridge between IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors. 

 

You will be responsible for:

 

Infor LN Service Management 

 

  • Own end-to-end service delivery for the Infor LN environment including managing incidents, service requests and problem resolutions.

  • Ensure system availability, performance, and reliability across all LN modules.

  • Oversee system monitoring, batch jobs, and interface processing.

 

Application & Functional Support 

 

  • Support and optimize key Infor LN modules (Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Projects).

  • Ensure correct configuration and usage of LN parameters, workflows, and business logic.

 

Infor Ecosystem & Integrations 

 

  • Manage integration between Infor LN and other systems (e.g., CRM, BI tools, MES, WMS) ensuing data consistency and integrity across platforms.

 

Release & Change Management 

 

  • Coordinate Infor LN updates, patches, and upgrades (including cloud releases).

  • Manage testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and ensure smooth deployment of changes.

  • Maintain change control processes aligned with ITIL best practice.  

 

Continuous Improvement 

 

  • Drive and identify optimization initiatives within Infor LN to improve efficiency and user experience.

To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience managing Infor LN (formerly Baan) ERP system from a service point of view, amongst experience making and actioning development requests to the system. If this experience is gained through a manufacturing environment that is advantageous.

 

You will have experience and enjoy creating documentation, SOPs and policy writing to support with the implementation and compliance to controls.

 

Having an ITIL certification is advantageous.
